NextWork – free virtual career fair

Find your next job in Alberta’s energy sector at NextWork! Hosted by PetroLMI and funded by the province of Alberta working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services, NextWork is a free virtual career fair taking place on September 28 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST. It’s all about connecting you with hiring companies from Alberta’s oil and gas services sector. 

Find your ‘NextWork’

There are workers needed with all experience levels and in diverse roles. From labourers and operators to technicians and trades, you’ll find an option that works for you! In the services sector you’ll be able to develop your skills and leadership in a hands-on career.  

You can upload your resume in advance so companies can review your information and request a meeting. During the event, you will also be able to request one-on-one chats with companies that are exhibiting.  

In addition to connecting with employers, you’ll find tools to help you land your next job, including on-demand sessions and resources. We’ll also be hosting two live sessions during the event: 

• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.: From the Workers’ Perspective – Personal experiences and insights about what it’s really like to work in the services sector.
• 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.: From the Employers’ Perspective – Job search tips and advice from employers, including where the opportunities are.
