Virtual Reality Field Trip

With three virtual reality experiences to try, students can engage with the energy industry in a whole new way.

Grades 3 to 12 and post-secondary. Our workshops are customizable to any curriculum and suitable for all levels of energy knowledge. Students will use our leading-edge virtual reality experiences to explore careers in energy, test their skills, and visit energy job sites in a fun and engaging way.

Careers in Energy provides a comprehensive kit which includes:

  • A presentation that can be adapted to suit any curriculum outlining:
    • The diverse energy landscape within Canada
    • The science, economics, and global impacts of the evolving energy industry
    • The variety of occupations across the energy industry
    • The skills and training required for in-demand occupations in energy
  • Virtual reality headsets and accessories, ready for use within the classroom
  • Workshop delivery and headset use instructions
  • Tips for navigating the Careers in Energy website to explore additional tools and resources.
